12.5 km. today. Meandered a bit. Slow leaving the apartment, then realized time was passing so rushed out, forgetting to eat breakfast or bring a lunch. Passed through a quiet Sunday morning downtown to Portage and Main, continued to the Via train station, looked in the lobby and continued on. Stopped at McNally-Robinson bookstore and looked for something to read while I had lunch at their cafe. Browsed for a while till I realized I was paging through "Classic Tractor" magazine. Went immediately and had a bowl of soup and some cornbread. And coffee. Went up to the gallery and had some interesting conversations with different family groups looking at the exhibits. The "Through the Eyes of a Child" exhibit seems to attract lots of parents with children. One young girl wanted me to tell her exactly how photography is art. Left the gallery at closing time, went back to the apartment and walked up and down a couple of flights of stairs several times while doing my laundry.
